Celebrating Fincastle’s historic churches at the Fincastle United Methodist Church with history and music. Starts at 3 PM.
July 14, 2024
Free Ice Cream and Hot Dog Social at Fincastle’s Big Spring Park, noon to 4 PM. Events include music by Cheryl Lunsford, face painting, kids games a dog parade and historical reeanactors demonstrating musket ball making.
Good weather event.
September 28, 2024
Fincastle Days Festival. Artists, crafters, quilt display, music around town, food, petting zoo, Fincastle Company 18th century living history and much more.

Other Upcoming Events
Celebrating Our Historic Churches at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. 2 PM history and music by the Botetourt Academy of Music. Date TBD.
October 25 & 26. Ghost Tour of Fincastle. Sponsored by Muddy Squirrel, BCHS and HFI.
November (date and time TBD). HFI annual meeting at Fincastle Presbyterian Church. New officer will be elected and a presentation on preservation will be presented.
December 6. Start of Fincastle’s Tinsel Trail, with the theme of “Toy Music.” Most decorated trees will be at Fincastle’s Wysong Property on Main St.
December 7. HFI annual member party (HFI members and guests only). Time and location TBD.
December 14. Historical Holiday Home Tour and Marketplace. Tour starting point and marketplace at Fincastle Baptist Church.
